She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Gruber and Bessie Gruber (Stone); her husband Julius Kernberg; and her siblings, Marvin Gruber, Marilyn Krattenstein and Ruth Chernack.
She is survived by: her sons, Paul Kernberg of Matawan, NJ and Scott Kernberg of Matawan, NJ. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
