It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alfred Essner (Manasquan, New Jersey), born in West Orange, New Jersey, who passed away on June 27, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Essner and Minnie Essner; and his son Alfred Essner. He is survived by: his son Heating; his wife Kathy Essner (Hesse) of Manasquan; his children, Kathy Sayers (Jeff) of Wall, John Essner (Cathy) of Jackson, Jill Moran (Brian) of Manasquan, Glenn Essner (Laura) of Manalapan and Ida Kish (Steven) of Brick; his grandchildren, Alec, Jack, David, Matthew, Andrew, Grace, Margaret, John, Audrey, Patrick (Amanda), Christopher, Samantha, Janine, Anthony and Nicholas; his great grandchildren, Jeremy, Anthony and Abbylynn; and his sister Judy Bennett.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Manasquan Hook and Ladder Company #1.
