He was predeceased by: his parents, Carolyn Smith and Claude Hopkins Sr.; his stepmother Mabel Hopkins; and his brothers, Danny and David Battle.
He is survived by: his wife Sherri; his grandchildren, Jonathan, Nia, Kristofer and Solomon; and his siblings, Carolyn Battle Cochrane (Tim) and Jacques Battel. He is also survived by loving cousins, nieces, nephews, in-laws, and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 at 5:00 PM.
