Tessie Nevitt Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Tessie Nevitt of Manville, New Jersey, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 30, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alex Bartusak and Clara Bartusak; her husband Richard Nevitt; and her siblings, Mary Rosocha, Julia Warcola, Joseph Bartusek and Jake Bartushak.
She is survived by: her children, Stacey (Robert Kita) of Manville, Carol (John Tammara) of Hillsborough, Christine (JC Mayernik) of Zebulon, Mark Nevitt (Libbye) of Pennsburg and Jeffrey Nevitt of Somerset; her brother Andrew Bartushak (Bobbi); her grandchildren, Amanda Nagele, Matthew Kita, Nicholas Kita, John Tammara, Jason Mayernik, Kyle Mayernik, Mindilyn Jorgensen, Derek Mayernik, Daria Mayernik, Michael Mayernik, Leigh Kulp, Kalyn Nevitt and Liam Nevitt; and her great grandchildren, Richard, Philip, Morgan, Hayden, Ashtyn, Benson, Kaitlyn, Camdyn, Alex, Ethan, Landon, Matthew, Lexie and Freya. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 8:45 AM to 9:15 AM at the Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home (205 S Main St, Manville, NJ 08835). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:15 AM at the Peter and Paul Orthodox Church (605 Washington Ave, Manville, NJ 08835). A graveside service was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 11:45 AM at the Peter and Paul Orthodox Cemetery (1166 Millstone River Rd, Hillsborough Township, NJ 08844).
