We are sad to announce that on June 10, 2025, at the age of 92, Joan Gardner of Marlboro, New Jersey passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband William Gardner; her daughter Ellen; and her brother Thomas. She is survived by: her children, Mary Beth, William (Nancy), Robert (Donna), Lori, Thomas and Dorothy (Jay); her grandchildren, John (Tracy), Thomas, Kate Lynn, Debra, Donald (Lindsey), Bobbi, Ariel (Robert), William, Laura (Joseph), Ryan, Elizabeth (Joseph), Daniel, Ivy and Sindi; and her siblings, Bernard, Loretta, Mary Anne and Peggy. She is also survived by twenty-two great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Waitt Funeral Home & Cremation Service (501 Hwy 79, Morganville, NJ 07751). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Gabriel's Historic Church (549 County Rd 520 E, Marlboro, NJ 07746). A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Holy Cross Cemetery - Brooklyn (3620 Tilden Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11203).
