It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lucy F. Townsend of Marlton, New Jersey, who passed away on August 29, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her husband Samuel David Townsend; her parents, Fred Stirman, Sr. and Eula Faye Stirman; and her siblings, Fred Stirman, Jr. (late Gladine), Beth Gipson (John) and Loma Howard (Dean).

She is survived by : her daughters, Beth Pepper (Philip), Patricia Townsend and Mary D'Alessandro (Patrick); and her grandchildren, Sam Pepper, Kara D'Alessandro and Jake D'Alessandro.
