He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter and Mildred; and his siblings, Rosie, Willard and Leroy.

He is survived by: his siblings, Stella, Emma and Bobby; his daughter Christina "Tina" Tharpe-Ferraro (Alfredo); and his close friends, Donald Davis, Wayne Kalai, Thomas Caucci, Ed Paugh and Chris Einwechter.
