We are sad to announce that on June 26, 2020, Delma Platanella of Mays Landing, New Jersey, born in Clementon, New Jersey passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Joseph Platanella, Jr.; her parents, Harvard Miller and Helen Scott; her great grandchild Del; her son Joseph Platanella III; her daughter-in-law Karen Platanella; her children, Robert (Lena Palladino), John (Dawn Whedbee), Helen Heide (Eric), Frances Bailey (Steven), Deborah Pino (Gil Bean) and Dorothy Torres (Cisco); her grandchildren, Robert Platanella, Jr., Casey Bailey, Taylor Bailey Stashak (Cody), Rachele Pino, Jenna Pino, Kevin Torres, Gabrielle Torres, John Platanella, Jr., Tyler Platanella and Anthony Hagel; and her great grandchild Colton Stashak. She was also cherished by seven children, ten grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Del's name to Hamilton Township Community Education Department, 1876 Dr. Foreman Drive, Mays Landing, NJ 08330 to further her legacy of caring for the youth of her Hamilton Township community.
