He was predeceased by: his brother John Gill; and his stepdaughter Karen Dengel. He is survived by: his wife Lucy; his children, Scott Gill (Christine) and Nancy Burns (Joseph); his stepdaughter Doreen MacGillivray (Mark); his grandchildren, Megan Burns, Cailin Burns, Scott Gill, Jessica MacGillivray and Ryan MacGillivray (Gina); and his siblings, Patricia Rowan and Raymond Gill. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
