We are sad to announce that on January 20, 2021, Eleanor Brown of Mays Landing, New Jersey passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Robert W. Brown (Brownie); her parents, Helen D. Garwood and Japhet Garwood; and her brother Byron Garwood. She is survived by: her children, George Gates of Florida, Helen McCarthy of Mays Landing and Thomas Gates (Barbara) of Absecon; and her grandchildren, Karen Gates, Charles Sean McCarthy, Thomas Gates II (Joanne) and Jason Gates.

Graveside Services and Burial will be private due to COVID restrictions.

In her memory, donations may be sent to the Township of Hamilton Rescue Squad, 1400 NJ-50, Mays Landing, NJ 08330.
