With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan McElhinney of Mays Landing, New Jersey, who passed away on September 28, 2021 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Kathleen Walsh and James Walsh; her husband James McElhinney; and her siblings, Roisin Walsh, Ann Kinkead, James Walsh and Gerard Walsh.
She is survived by: her children, Roisin Keough, James McElhinney, Kevin McElhinney and Kathleen Chambers; her grandchildren, Tara Delacruz, Caitlin Chambers, Shannon Chambers, Sean McElhinney, Michele McElhinney, Matthew McElhinney and Cristine McElhinney; and her great grandchildren, Ryan Delacruz and Alexis Delacruz.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Alzheimer's Association http://www.alz.org , or St. Jude Children's Hospital http://www.stjude.org in Joan's memory.
