With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John W. Smiley (Merchantville, New Jersey), born in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 16, 2018 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his spouse May McDowell; and his child Susan Green (Darnell) of Hewitt, NJ.. He is survived by : his children, Patricia Hopkins of Pennsauken and Barbara Wilson (Dennis) of Pennsauken. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church.
