With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth McGuire (Metuchen, New Jersey), born in Newark, New Jersey, who passed away on February 28, 2019. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Schwarzman and Shirley Schwarzman; and her husband Richard McGuire. She is survived by: her daughter Lynn McGuire Holmes; her son-in-law Gregg Holmes; her granddaughters, Loran Holmes and Kyra Holmes; her niece Lisa Schwarzman Dix; her great-nephew Reginald Dix; her sisters-in-law, Ella and Joanie; and her cousins, Andrew, Eileen, Fred, Felicya, Jerry, Jessie and Sammy.
In lieu of flowers, and in Ruth's memory, hug your loves ones tight, volunteer your time with an elderly person that may need your help, and/or donate to the Alzheimer's Association act.alz.org.
