The passing of Robert E. MacDonald (Dunellen, New Jersey) leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on May 28, 2025 at the age of 97. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary MacDonald and Harold MacDonald. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Craig (Betty); his daughters, Bonnie (Richard Zarate) of Bridgewater, Darlene (Donald Devereaux) of Middlesex and June Moslak of Middlesex; his grandchildren, Brian, Kathryn Zarate, Shawn, Shannon Moslak, Stephen, Melanie Zarate, Craig Bron, Christopher, Kerry Bron, Nicole Moslak and Cody Devereaux; his great grandchildren, Lena, Bryson, Hailey, Max, Trent, Timothy, Owen and Liam; his siblings, Bob and Carol; and his brother-in-law Charles Knehr of Lavallette, NJ.. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Sheenan Funeral Home (233 Dunellen Ave, Dunellen, NJ 08812). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at the Hillside Cemetery (1401 Woodland Ave, Scotch Plains, NJ 07076).
