He was predeceased by: his wife Ida Miele (Callaghan); his parents, John Miele and Mary Miele; and his brother Valentine Miele. He is survived by: his children, John A. Miele III (Ellen), Christina Maher (Michael) and Maria Skribner (Jeff); his grandchildren, Krista, Mary, Michael, Anne, Theresa, Caroline, John, Joey and Jake; and his brother Dr. Joseph Miele.
