She was predeceased by: her parents, Dominic Toal and Kathleen Toal; and her husband James Shea. She is survived by: her brother Jack Toal; her sister-in-law Pam; her children, Bryan Shea (Michele) and Meredith Shea Carrillo (Nick); her grandchildren, Abigael, Maisie, Molly and James; and her close friend Margaret Cawley.
