It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Phillip A Butcher of Middletown, New Jersey, born in Ypsilanti, Michigan, who passed away on October 26, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roger Butcher and Atta Pearl Butcher; and his siblings, Nancy (Gary), Bill and Kenneth (Mary Jo).
He is survived by: his children, Kristen (Darryl) and Todd (Lindsey); his grandchildren, Hadley, Maxwell, Hudson and Dylan; his wife Donna Prior; and his sister Betty (Pete). He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the John E. Day Funeral Home (85 Riverside Ave, Red Bank, NJ 07701). A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the United Methodist Church of Red Bank (247 Broad St, Red Bank, NJ 07701).
