It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard Thetgyi (Middletown, New Jersey), who passed away on October 23, 2021, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his daughter Patricia; his granddaughters, Elaina, Kate and Jamie; his wife Judith Thetgyi; his daughters, Patti Newbold (Scott), Natasha Thetgyi and Samantha Ryan (Patrick); and his siblings, Penelope Lian, Gilbert Thetgyi (TinTin San), Katherine Thetgyi, Fred Thetgyi (Eunice), Beatrice Ting (Stanislaus) and Natasha Shinn (Kyaw). He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and family members.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations to St. Jude's Hospital or Operation Smile be made in his name to honor his love of children.
