He was predeceased by: his wife Thelma Shaffer (MacDonald); and his grandson Tristan Bump. He is survived by: his children, Curtis, II (Stephanie), Dustin (Ali), Elizabeth Simpkins (Randy) and Tabitha Heger (Carl); his sisters, Darlene Ferus (Don), Beatrice Robbins (Alan) and Vivian Metcalf; and his grandchildren, Jaylin, Jonah, Lainey Shaffer, Caroline Bump, Kristin Bump and Lucille Simpkins.
