He was predeceased by: his parents, Carleton Nelson and Gwendolyn Nelson (Ash); his child Carleton Keith Nelson; and his son-in-law Steven Michael Dee. He is survived by: his wife Frances Nelson (Holsten); his daughter Leslie Dee; his daughter-in-law Kelly Nelson (Stewart); and his grandchildren, Jordan Lee, Amanda Nelson and Jake Nelson.
