He was predeceased by: his sister Sally; his brother-in-law Tom Schwarz; and his niece Dawn Schwarz. He is survived by: his wife Catherine Staffa Durando; his children, Adam (Christina) of Monroe Township, Niki of Jamesburg, Jack of Sayreville and Susan Durando (Stephen Nilsen) of Old Bridge; his grandchildren, Nicholas, Christian Nascak, Marcus Durando, Kelly and Anna Nilsen; and his niece Debbie Nemeth.
