Joseph D. Marchitto Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph D. Marchitto of Monroe Township, New Jersey, born in Jersey City, New Jersey, who passed away on January 16, 2022, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dominic Marchitto and Rose Marchitto; his brother Carmine; his brother-in-law John Nelan; and his son-in-law John Jakubowski.
He is survived by: his wife Marianne; his daughter Adrienne Jakubowski; his grandchildren, Alexandra, Madison and Christian; his daughter Heather Stankiewicz; his son-in-law David Stankiewicz; his grandchildren, Malorie and Camryn; and his siblings, JoAnn Ambrozia (Michael), Carolina Brown (Ken), Rosemarie Mohsen (Diaa), Theresa Ryan (Patrick), Maria Nelan, Michael Marchitto, Christina DeFelice (Nicholas), Dominic Marchitto, Josephine Dragotti (Jeffrey) and Anthony Marchitto (Barbara). He is also survived by 12 siblings, many nieces and nephews.
Due to the current state of the pandemic, the family has requested that all those attending the service at the Funeral Home please wear a mask.
In lieu of flowers, donations honoring Joe's memory may be made to the American Heart Association.
