Irion (Montclair, New Jersey), born in Ames, Iowa, who passed away on March 12, 2018, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his spouse Eleanor H. Irion (Hanson); and also, Martha T. Irion of North Pownal and Cynthia I. Overgaag of Acton, MA..

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Purdue Foundation, 403 West Wood Street, West Lafayette, IN 47907.
