He was predeceased by: his parents, Dennis Edward McDonald and Helen VanCourt McDonald. He is survived by: his children, Dennis (Rose Shields), Patrick (Lisa Behrendt), Michael (Valerie), Andrew (late Linda), Thomas (Kimberly) and Elizabeth (Christopher Litsinger); and his grandchildren, Maggie, Christopher, Brian, Michael, Kimberly, Chesna, Andy, Dylan, Quinn, Shane, Jacob, River, Escher and Grey. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
