It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Gertrude Spencer (Morristown, New Jersey), who passed away on September 9, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Dorothy G. and James E. Bright, Jr. of Morristown, NJ.; her brother James E. Bright, III (Bubby); her stepson John A. Spencer; and her daughters-in-law, Jennie Eva Spencer (Geneva) and Doris Gray.

She is survived by: her stepson William Gray of Creedmoor, NC; her sister-in-law Joan Bright of Montclair, NJ; and her sibling's children, Stephen Bright (Mirza), Herbie Banks (Jessi), Valerie Lewis, Mark and Brian Bright. She is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.

Even during times of social distancing, anyone who has suffered a loss deserves love and support more than ever before.
