She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Charles H. Scott Sr.; her parents, Benjamin Howard and Crescie Ann Smith Cannady; her brothers, Lincoln, Arthur, Ben Clement and Bishop Leroy H. Cannady; her sons, Charles H. Scott Jr., Belgrade, Kirby D. Scott, Gettysburg, Reuben V. Scott and Ashburn; and her grandchildren, Ashley, Emily, Kevin, Elijah, Mya, Aaron and Emma. She was also cherished by nieces, nephews and cousins.
