She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Mary Rizzo (Nardone) and Cosmo Rizzo; her husband Lawrence Garafola (Larry); her brother-in-law Michael Garafola; her parents-in-law, Lawrence and Lillian Garafola; her children, Larry Garafola (Maureen) of Neshanic Station, NJ, Maria Fabbricatore (Mike) of Whitehouse Station, NJ and Laura Zamrok (Brian) of Annandale, NJ.; and her goddaughter Serena Juliano. She was also cherished by many other cousins who were like sisters and brothers.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a donation be made in her honor to the American Cancer Society.
