He was predeceased by: his parents, Regino Martinez and Juana Martinez (Torres); and his brothers, Jose "Cheche", Rafael, Domingo, Wilfredo and Carlos.
He is survived by: his wife Maria Martinez (Guadalupe); his son Jose "Tito"; his daughter-in-law LaTorya Reid Martinez; his daughters, Eva, Noemi, Mari and Jessica; and his siblings, Sanata, Regino "Rene", Luis and Carmelo. He is also survived by his eleven grandchildren, two great grandchildren.
