Cheek of New Brunswick, New Jersey, born in Ellaville, Georgia, who passed away on June 30, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Henry Bivins (Tereon) and Geneva Brown Hampton (Samuel); and her brother Dwight Bivins Ronnie Johnson (Veronica). She is survived by : her husband Howard Cheek; her children, Janet Perry-Mathews (Anthony) and James Daniel Perry (Kathryn); her grandchildren, Asmar Scott, Daniel Perry Jr., Anthony Mathews, Marcus Perry, Nicholas Perry and Danielle Bright; her daughter Melissa Goodman (Aquil); and her granddaughter Olivia Goodman.
