He was predeceased by: his parent Alice Holz (Metz). He is survived by: his wife Eleanor M. Holz (Denarski); his children, Randy Holz (Cindy) of Monroe and Katherine Fisher (Roger) of North Brunswick; his grandchildren, Samantha McCann, Stacy Shiffner, Sara Faleski, Rachel Fisher and Michael Fisher; and his siblings, August Holz (Thelma) and Margaret Potts.
