Brigida Rakoczy Obituary

We are sad to announce that on October 4, 2019, at the age of 91, Brigida Rakoczy (Newark, New Jersey) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Fortunato Santangelo and Maria Santangelo; her stepmother Julia Santangelo; her husband Leonard Rakoczy; and her siblings, Nancy DeCorte and Dr. Richard Santangelo.

She is survived by: her siblings, Fortunato "Fred" and Maria Santangelo; her children, Maria (David Whelan) and Anthony Rakoczy; her grandsons, Kenichiro and Tomotaka Rakoczy; and her sisters, Louise Sules and Frances Collito.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Semper Fi Fund, semperfifund.org, to honor those who preserve our freedom.
