It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn L. Parsley (Newark, New Jersey), born in Durham, North Carolina, who passed away on November 21, 2019, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ella Chrisp (Stroud) and Nelson Chrisp; her sons, Wilbur Earl Parsley, Robert Chrisp and Larry Wayne Parsley; and her siblings, Melvin, Luther Chrisp, Francis Harris and Helen Chrisp.
She is survived by: her daughter Erma Williams; and her sister Barbara Boyce. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
