He was predeceased by: his parents, William Thomas and Ozella Pettus Chambers; and his siblings, Willie, Theodore, Lonnie, Eula and Bernice.
He is survived by: his wife Agnes; his daughters, Carol Noel and Lorraine Scott; his sisters, Velma Chambers Crutcher (Newland) of Cincinnati and Gladys Chambers Williams of Birmingham; and his friend Shiloh. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren.
