He was predeceased by: his wife Colette Louise Costa Paiva; his parents, Antonio Cosme De Paiva and Valentina Lopes Da Cunha; his siblings, Antonio, Mario, Daniel, Albano Paiva and Celeste (João Marquinhos); and his grandson Anthony Paiva, Jr..
He is survived by: his children, Antonio Paiva (Fatima), Maria Paiva (Antonio), Blantina Jones (Lidia) and Antoinette Paiva; and his siblings, Maria Paiva (Antonio Silva) and Deolinda Paiva. He is also survived by 23 great-grandchildren, many loving cousins, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
