He is survived by: his children, Renee Hayes, Deric Glen, Sr. of Washington State, Mark, Mahia Hayes and Aaron Floyd; his grandchildren, Brandon, Ashley, Deric Jr. (DJ), Cody, Tomesha Johnson, Marnae Hayes, Jamill Hayes, Elijah Johnson, Aliyah Hayes, Simone, Lamyia, Cha Nyah, Julian and Ashtyn; his sisters, Margaret Covington, Cora Patricia Thompson, Melvinia Ophelia Garner, Ruth Yvonne McQueen (Cookie) and Deborah Vanessa Williams; and his uncle George Harding.
