He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Margaret Jannicelli Galante; and his children, Maria Beck, Vincent Donald Galante, JoAnn Thomas and Robert Galante. He was also cherished by 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews.
