He was predeceased by: his former wife Janice; his sister Lois Cromer; his sister-in-law Sara Howard; his children, Arthur and Jane; his stepson David Helsinger; and his stepgrandson Dwayne Hudgel.
He is survived by: his wife Sue; his children, Barbara Olsen and John Johnsen (Heather); his children-in-law, Janet Johnsen and Donald Renner; his stepsons, Jeff Helsinger (Janice) and Jim Helsinger (Suzanne); his grandchildren, Kristen Rossi (Paul), Erik Olsen, Margaret Canniff (Andrew), Eleanore Johnsen and Charles Johnsen; his stepgrandchildren, Tina Helsinger, Amy Smith, Rose Helsinger, James Helsinger, Bryce Hudgel, Stephanie Ethridge and Whitney Wood; his great grandchildren, Andrew Rossi, Evan Rossi and Matthew Canniff; and his sibling's children, Carol Cromer, Barbara McLaughlin (Denis), Ann Marie Stager and Daniel Howard (Eileen). He is also survived by numerous cousins and other relatives.
