He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo H. Day and Nancy B. Day (Holley); and his brother-in-law Clay Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Cooney; his son Joseph (Amanda Day); his siblings, Lisa (Richard Nemeth), Diana Day, Veronica Flood, Shari (Larry Fuller), Susan Day, Steven, Benjamin Day and Jason Day (Joleen Fairchild); and his granddaughter Desiree Day. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
