Nikolaos Kontos Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 12, 2025, at the age of 53, Nikolaos Kontos of Newton, New Jersey passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Nikolaos Kontos to pay them a last tribute.
He is survived by: his wife Jeannie V. Kontos; his mother Eleni Kontos; his children, Efthimia Kontos, Liam Morrison, Audrey Morrison, Janice Morrison, Kayla Ellis (Michael) and Jody McCarthy (Devin); his grandchildren, Caeden, Leland, Kieran, Emerson and Maverick; and his brothers, Christos Kontos (Alexandra) and Stelio Kontos (Dawn). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended relatives, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Nicholas Contstantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church (80 Laurel Ave, Livingston, NJ 07068). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at the Restland Memorial Park (77 Deforest Ave, East Hanover, NJ 07936).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Nick's memory to Sts. Nicholas, Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church.
