Vincent F. Scordato Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vincent F. Scordato of Newton, New Jersey, who passed away on May 16, 2025, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Vincent F. Scordato to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Giovanni Scordato and Rosa Scordato (Valentino); his daughter Diane Scordato; and his wives, Patricia and Lois Scordato.
He is survived by: his sons, Thomas Scordato, John Scordato (Mary Pat) and Mark Scordato (Mira Cocozziello); his grandchildren, Katie, Laura, Jason, Deborah, Jacob and Brianna; and his stepchildren, Charles Malysse (Gail), Janice Wehmuller (John) and Karen Brooks (John). He is also survived by 9 children, 21 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ferguson - Vernon Funeral Home (241 NJ-94, Vernon Township, NJ 07462). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Northern Nj Veterans Memorial Cemetery (75 N Church Rd, Sparta, NJ 07871).
