He was predeceased by : his parents, Athena Abadiotakis (Perrakis) and Joseph Abadiotakis. He is survived by : his wife Varvara; his daughter Athena (George); his grandchildren, Alexia, Despina, Emmanuel and George; his son John (Sofia); his grandchild Vanna; his son George Jr. (Elizabeth); his grandchild Giavanna; his daughter Alice (Sotiris); and his granddaughter Ava.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Gleason Funeral Home of North Brunswick (555 Georges Rd, North Brunswick Township, NJ 08902). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. George Greek Orthodox Church (1101 River Rd, Piscataway, NJ 08854).

Contributions in Mr. Abadiotakis's name may be made to the Cretan's Fraternity at 1152 Raritan Avenue Highland Park, NJ 08904.
