Virginia J. Whalen Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Virginia J. Whalen of North Brunswick, New Jersey, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 23, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Cimon and Nancy Cimon; and her husband Joseph Whalen. She is survived by: her sons, Joseph Whalen (Kathleen), Michael Whalen (Cathleen) and Leo Whalen (Diana); her grandchildren, Johnathan, Kelsie, Michael (Meredith), Christopher, Ashton, Leo (Alyssa), Joseph and Brittany; and her great grandchild James.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Gleason Funeral Home of North Brunswick (555 Georges Rd, North Brunswick Township, NJ 08902). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the same location. An entombment will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at the St. Peter's Cemetery (500 Somerset St, New Brunswick, NJ 08901).
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to North Brunswick Volunteer Fire Company #1 600 Cranbury Cross Rd. North Brunswick NJ 08902.
