He is survived by: his wife Pravinaben Patel; his sons, Dr. Prashant and Dr. Kishan Patel; his daughter-in-law Neema Patel; his grandchildren, Rhea Patel, Arianna Patel and Rohan Patel; and his siblings, Vimuben, Vindodbhai, Sharmisthaben, Meenaben, Ashokbhai, Vikrambhai and Varshaben Patel.
