He was predeceased by : his parents, Nancy Smith Benson and Edward Benson. He is survived by : his wife Barbara Higgins Benson; his daughter Dawn M. Dicellis of North Plainfield; his grandchildren, Gianna, Michael, James and John; and his uncle Walter Smith (Janice) of Virginia.
