He was predeceased by: his parents, Kathryn Dilks (Somers) and John Haines Dilks; and his brother Toby Dilks. He is survived by: his wife Sherry Lee Dilks (Cavileer); his children, Joseph Dilks, John Dilks IV (Alexis), Jennifer Dilks Mundt (Peter) and Jeff Dilks (Jenny); and his grandchildren, John Dilks V, Kathryn Dilks, Adeline Mundt (Sanam Singh), Oskar Mundt, Rudi Mundt, Sawyer Dilks, Easton Dilks and Wesley Dilks.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM at the Adams-Perfect Funeral Home (1650 New Rd, Northfield, NJ 08225). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 5:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Shriners Hospitals for Children.
