He was predeceased by: his parent John J. Fogarty, Sr.; his wife Carol; and his sisters, Estelle and Catherine. He is survived by: his parent Estelle Fogarty (Dougherty); his children, John J. Fogarty III (Cathleen), Timothy Fogarty (Natalie Urbano), Andrew Fogarty (Adel) and Jennifer Fogarty (Robert Lamy); his grandchildren, John IV, Harrison and Gabrielle; and his brother-in-law Matthew Montgomery.

In lieu of flowers donations may be sent in John's memory to Alzheimer's Association Greater New Jersey Chapter, 3 Eves Dr., #310.
