He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Mary; his children, Sophia Karanikitas of Mount Laurel, NJ and Lukas Karanikitas (Kristine) of Northvale; his grandchildren, Alexander, Lilly Anna, Nicholas Cortright (Nemesis), Courtney and Gavin Cortright; and his siblings, Apostolos Karanikitas (Magdalini), Andreas Karanikitas, Evangelia Pontiki (Kyriako) and Mary Dokas (late Alexandros). He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews as well as many other loving relatives.
