He was predeceased by: his daughter Alyssa Ann Flaherty; his parents, John Hugh and Margaret Ellen Flaherty, Sr.; his siblings, John Hugh Flaherty, Jr. and Joanne Erickson; and his sister-in-law Lorraine Solomon.
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Flaherty; his sons, Thomas Flaherty (Christine) and Sean Flaherty (Millie); his grandchildren, Logan, Madison and Nicolas; and his sisters-in-law, Arlene Ferrara (Steve) and Linda Castrichini (Felix). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and friends.
