It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Robert King of Nutley, New Jersey, who passed away on June 26, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joseph Robert King to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William King and Lillian King; his siblings, Marie, Elizabeth, Stetten, Edward, Carl, William, Beata Anne Nolze and James; and his granddaughter Tara Ann Starr.
He is survived by: his sister Dolores Fitzsimmons; his children, Brian (Debbie), Cheryl Starr (Thomas), Peggy Rosenthal, Martin (Lana) and Erik (Cheryl); and his wife Patricia Kiernan (Kiernan). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Due to health risks associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, the family will be holding a small private Catholic Church service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in his memory are made to: St. John's Men's Club, 15 E Church St., Susquehanna, PA 18847.
