He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Barbara Straten; his children, Sandra Schaefer (Brian), Michele Matesic (Joey), Dennis Straten (Jennifer), Brian Straten and Mark Straten (Eric); his grandchildren, Michael, Marissa, Stephanie and Samantha Schaefer; and his sister-in-law Mary Davis (Robert). He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Frank Patti & Kenneth Mikatarian Funeral Home (327 Main St, Fort Lee, NJ 07024). A prayer was held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location.
